The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) reports progress on disbursing flood relief funds for the 2025 rainy season, following Cabinet resolutions on 21 October 2025 and 18, 25 November 2025. This aid provides a flat rate of 9,000 baht per household to people affected by floods during the 2025 rainy season, covering four types of flood impact as follows:
1. Permanent residence flooded with water accumulation not exceeding 7 days and property damaged.
2. Permanent residence flooded with water accumulation exceeding 7 days.
3. Permanent residence surrounded by water causing disruption to normal living for more than 7 consecutive days.
4. Permanent residence in a multi-story building where floodwater does not reach the occupied floor but still causes disruption to normal living for over 7 consecutive days.
The DDPM urges those who have not yet linked their PromptPay account with their ID number to contact any bank promptly to do so. This is to avoid issues with transferring flood relief funds and to ensure timely and comprehensive assistance.
