Phut Apivan revealed that the parents of Natthawut Ponglanka, a well-known news reporter and anchor, have requested to withhold his body for fact verification after recently receiving the autopsy results.
The case concerns Mr. Natthawut Ponglanka, a news reporter and anchor on a popular channel, who died suddenly at his residence in Bang Kruai district, Nonthaburi province, on 30 November 2025 GMT+7.
On 5 December 2025 GMT+7, the Facebook page of Phut Apivan posted that Natthawut's parents agreed to withhold his body for further fact-checking after recently learning the autopsy results.
Previously, Natthawut Ponglanka's family arranged for two nights of funeral rites at Kluai Temple in Nonthaburi, followed by three nights of wakes at Rimkok Temple in Mae Yao subdistrict, Mueang district, Chiang Rai province, his hometown. The cremation is scheduled for Saturday, 6 December 2025 GMT+7.
