Latest update on registration for "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" distributes 10 million slots, 2,000 baht each. The first 5 million slots go to leftover groups and residents in flood and border conflict areas, and the other 5 million slots to the general public.
After the government opened registration for people to join the program "Khon La Khrueng Plus" via the "Pao Tang" app, with the government subsidizing half the cost to stimulate and revive the Thai economy, with spending starting on 29 October 2025.
For those who missed registering in the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 1" program, there is still hope with the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" program. After Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, confirmed that related agencies will expedite reviewing and resolving issues for those who missed out on the benefits. Those who missed Phase 1 might receive 4,000 baht. Registration for "Khon La Khrueng Plus" Phase 2 is expected to be similar to registering for Phase 1.
Regarding the timeline, Siripong Angkasunkiet, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed on 9 Dec that the Ministry of Finance plans to propose to the Cabinet next week to approve the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" Phase 2 project to continue stimulating spending next year. It is expected to provide 10 million slots with 2,000 baht each, open for registration in late December 2025, and spending starting January 2026. The first 5 million slots will be for those who never joined before and people in flood-affected areas and provinces with border conflicts with Cambodia, while the remaining 5 million slots will be open to people who have previously participated.
People can use their benefits at participating stores until 31 December 2025, between 06:00 and 23:00, via G-Wallet in the "Pao Tang" application, without needing to spend the full 200 baht per day.
1. Must be a Thai national.
2. Must be at least 16 years old at the time of registration.
3. Must have a national ID card.
4. Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 1 October 2025.
5. Must not have had their rights suspended or been required to refund money in government programs, including Khon La Khrueng Phases 1 through 5.
