Khon La Khrueng Plus Check Remaining Balance and Spend via Paotang App by December Unused Funds Will Be Revoked

After the announcement of the parliament dissolution, the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program remains valid until the end of December. Users can check their remaining balance and spend through the Paotang app. Unused funds will be revoked. Meanwhile, "Khon La Khrueng Phase 2" has been suspended due to legal limitations.

On 12 December 2025, reporters reported that following the government led by Anutin Charnvirakul announcing the dissolution of parliament and returning power to the people, Minister Pradorn Prissanananthakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Ang Thong MP of the Bhumjaithai Party, spoke about the Khon La Khrueng Phase 2 program. There had been rumors it would be presented to the Cabinet on 15 December 2025 to assist 10 million people with 2,000 baht each. He said the program would have to be halted due to legal election restrictions that prevent its implementation.

However, for citizens granted rights under the first phase of the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program, they can still spend via the Paotang app until 31 December 2025. The government subsidizes 50%, and beneficiaries pay the other 50%, with a daily spending limit of 200 baht per person or up to the maximum allotted amount, between 06:00 and 23:00.
