On 12 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Facebook pageThailand Chefs Associationposted a message stating, "With deep sorrow, the Thailand Chefs Association would like to inform everyone that Chef Somsak Rarongkham, President of the Thailand Chefs Association, has passed away peacefully.
We join in expressing our condolences and respectfully remember his virtues throughout the time he dedicated himself to the association. He was a valuable leader, deeply respected and loved by all of us. Details about the Buddhist prayer and cremation ceremony will be announced by the association in due course."
Following the post, many people commented to express their sympathy to Chef Somsak's family.
