Finance Ministry Emphasizes Khon La Khrueng Plus Program Nears End Urges Spending by 31 Dec 2025

The Ministry of Finance announced that total spending under the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program reached 80,075.36 million baht, with 6.44 million users having fully used their allocated funds. The ministry emphasized the need to complete spending by 31 December 2025.


On 25 December 2025, Mr. Phongnakhon Pochakorn, Director of the Policy Development Division for the People's Financial System and assistant spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, reported on the progress of the Khon La Khrueng Plus program. As of 24 December 2025 at 23:00, total spending through the program amounted to 80,075.36 million baht.

This total breaks down into two parts: first, consumer spending of 40,692.41 million baht, including 39,227.11 million baht spent at regular merchants and 1,465.33 million baht through food delivery platforms; second, government co-payments totaling 39,382.96 million baht, comprising 37,989.75 million baht at regular merchants and 1,393.21 million baht via food delivery platforms.

Regarding participating merchants, as of 24 December 2025 at 23:00, there were 999,331 merchants verified in the program. Of these, 89,698 were restaurants and beverage outlets accepting payments through food delivery platforms.

The ministry's assistant spokesperson added that currently 6.44 million users, or 32.59% of all participants, have fully utilized their budgets of 2,400 baht or 2,000 baht. He urged those with remaining balances to promptly complete their spending at participating regular merchants between 06:00 and 23:00, or through food delivery restaurants from 06:00 to 21:00, by 31 December 2025, the program's end date.
