"NIDA" has issued a statement affirming it has never supported or encouraged personnel to break the law, insult, disparage, or undermine human dignity.
On 30 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the National Institute of Development Administration posted a statement on its Facebook page.NIDA ThailandIt stated, "Regarding the case of personal opinions expressed publicly by staff members, and some citizens have shared their opinions and concerns with the National Institute of Development Administration,
the institute acknowledges this and wishes to clarify that it is committed to providing education and academic services grounded in knowledge, ethics, and responsibility to society and the nation. It emphasizes academic freedom, governance management, as well as freedom of personal expression by its staff and students.
However, such personal expressions must not violate laws, infringe on individual rights, diminish human dignity, or include criticism that causes harm to individuals, organizations, or agencies.
The institute supports its staff and students in fostering wisdom for development, adhering to correctness, creating positive social and national impact, and respecting others' opinions and differences. The institute has never supported or promoted personnel to break the law or express opinions or communications—through any channel—that insult, disparage, or undermine human dignity, which is a fundamental value for coexistence in society.
Finally, the institute will uphold principles of good governance and fairness, and will consider facts according to regulations. It assures that it will proceed with caution and prioritize principles."
