On 30 December 2025 GMT+7, it was reported that the Office of the Civil Service Commission has set the application period for the 2026 general knowledge and ability test (Part A) with the following details and schedule.
The Office of the Civil Service Commission opens applications for Part A (e-Exam) for those who have graduated or will graduate in the academic year 2026 at vocational certificate (V.C.), vocational diploma (V.D.), associate degree, bachelor's, or master's degree levels, across 26 test centers with a total of 243,117 seats.
For those interested in taking the K.P. Part A e-Exam in 2026, additional qualifications have been added. These are "vocational certificate (V.C.), vocational diploma (V.D.), and associate degree". This allows those who graduated with these qualifications to apply in addition to the existing bachelor's or master's degrees. New test centers include Mahasarakham University, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Ayutthaya Hantra Center, RMUTSB Ayutthaya Wasukri Center, and RMUTSB Suphanburi Center, totaling 26 centers.
