The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the tensions between the United States and Venezuela, calling on all parties to resolve the conflict peacefully and exercise restraint.

Thailand has been closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela and urges all involved parties to resolve their conflicts peacefully, respecting the United Nations Charter and international law. It called for restraint to prevent escalation of violence, emphasizing the protection of civilians and respect for the will of the Venezuelan people.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Lima, Peru, responsible for overseeing Venezuela, has been in close contact with Thai nationals there and stands ready to provide assistance if necessary. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Thai citizens without urgent reasons to reconsider traveling to the area at this time.
