In the case of Noom Pratchaya Panjapanya, the keyboardist and distinctive vocalist of the band “Noklae,” who passed away peacefully on 4 January 2026, his family, friends, and fans mourned his passing. The Chiang Mai Community Traffic Radio page posted a photo of Noom Noklae with the message: “In memory of Noom Noklae, the beloved youth icon of the Grammy era, who passed away peacefully, as previously reported.”
At 9:00 p.m. on 4 January 2026, reporters were informed by Noklae band coordinator Ms. Natthuthai Taweerithikul, or Jeab, that Noom Pratchaya Panjapanya, the keyboardist and distinctive vocalist of the band “Noklae,” had died in Los Angeles, United States.
Noom Pratchaya, or Noom Noklae, was approximately 53 years old. He had moved to the United States, where he had a family and children, and he passed away there. It is expected that Noom’s family will proceed with arrangements in the United States.
Regarding the cause of death, the family confirmed that Noom had an underlying illness. He lived in the United States and worked as a pharmacist there. Friends and fans of the Noklae band have contacted each other to inquire about the cause and funeral arrangements and have expressed their condolences.
Reporters noted that former members of the Noklae band will hold further discussions about organizing merit-making ceremonies for Noom Noklae in Thailand at a later date.
