The Government Savings Bank is giving 1,000 baht as a New Year 2026 gift to good borrowers. Check eligibility before claiming the money through the MyMo app by 31 Jan 2026.

On 8 January 2026, it was reported that the Government Savings Bank is spreading happiness for the 2026 New Year festival by preparing gifts to bring joy to the public under the "Good Discipline, Have Money" program. This is for bank customers with good repayment histories—paid fully and on time—by giving a special gift of 1,000 baht per person as follows.

• Borrowers with loan amounts not exceeding 200,000 baht
• who have a good repayment record for at least three consecutive years
• who have never restructured their debt and have no history of written-off debts
• with normal debt status (arrears no more than 30 days)

can claim the 1,000 baht bonus through the MyMo app.

The bank will transfer the money to accounts in February 2026 only for those who have a savings account in their own name (excluding accounts for minors or joint accounts) and who claim the benefit via the MyMo app by 31 January 2026, under the bank’s specified conditions. This gift aims to encourage customers with good repayment discipline and provide additional funds to improve their financial liquidity for work or holiday spending.

How to claim the 1,000 baht bonus

For the "Good Discipline, Have Money" program (New Year 2026 gift), the bank will send a notification through the MyMo app only to eligible customers. The message will state: “Special for you, Government Savings Bank generously offers a 1,000 baht New Year gift under the Good Discipline, Have Money program. Claim your benefit by 31 Jan 2026.”
