True love exists. A woman who owns a beverage shop revealed the touching story behind a viral video where her husband shaved his head alongside her, standing by her side during her cancer battle. She expressed gratitude for his crucial support in her life and strength.
In a case where Facebook user "Nirun Lamil" shared a clip of himself shaving his wife's hair while she was ill, the couple joked and encouraged each other. The husband then decided to shave his own head with clippers, humorously saying, "We'll become the two bald heads of Khok Pib house," bringing smiles and tears to many viewers.
On 10 December 2025 GMT+7, a reporter visited the dome at Khok Pib Subdistrict Municipality, Sri Mahosot District, Prachinburi Province, where the National Children's Day event was held. There, the couple from the viral clip was present: Ms. Namthip Rattanathamrongphan, 39, and Mr. Nirun Lamil, 37. They arrived by motorcycle with a sidecar. Kind-hearted people purchased drinks from their shop to distribute free to children and parents attending, creating a warm, encouraging atmosphere.
Ms. Namthip shared that she originally worked at a factory in an industrial estate before developing chronic illness symptoms. She was diagnosed with SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) and later leukemia and lymphoma. She has undergone chemotherapy, blood transfusions, plasma exchange, and immunosuppressant treatments, which caused repeated hair loss throughout her treatment.
Mr. Nirun, her husband, briefly said, "Seeing her shave alone made me feel sorry, so I shaved mine too. Now we’re the two tough bald heads of Khok Pib."
Additionally, Ms. Namthip, with tears in her eyes, spoke of their bond: her husband wakes up as early as 3 a.m. to take her to the hospital, then returns to work and picks her up in the evening. Sometimes he waits late without complaint, always providing her emotional support. "He never lets me feel alone. He is my most important source of strength in life."
The couple kissed each other’s cheeks in front of the media, laughing together. For generous individuals interested in supporting their beverage shop to help distribute drinks at events or charity kitchens, contact: 084-347-3125.
