On 15 Jan 2026, the DDPM posted that at 10:32 a.m., they sent a Cell Broadcast message advising to avoid the section of Rama 2 Road in front of the Paris Hotel, between km 30+300 and 30+400, in both inbound and outbound directions to Bangkok due to a crane collapse accident. They recommended using Phetkasem Road and Borommaratchachonnani Road instead.
Meanwhile, the DDPM, in cooperation with mobile network operators AIS, True, and NT, sent alert messages via Cell Broadcast advising to avoid the Rama 2 Road route.
