She was born on 23 March 1969 in Songkhla Province as the eldest of three siblings to Mr. Sawai and Mrs. Areeya from Phatthalung. She has one son. Her husband passed away, leaving an inheritance of 100 million baht in debt, which Kru Aoy managed to clear within two years.
Her childhood was not difficult as her family was relatively well-off. At 12-13 years old, she went to study in England until age 20. Kru Aoy earned two master's degrees in economics and business administration.
Her career background includes working as an economist for two years at a company under the Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand, then five years at Gemopolis Company. Afterwards, she partnered with friends to establish Diamond Today Company before founding Working Diamond Co., Ltd., serving as its director. She was also chairman of the Happy Kid Wisdom School (from which she resigned), a teacher in meditation courses, and the author of the Life Compass book series.
Her first book was "Life Compass." It was first published in Thailand in December 2004. Since then, several more books in the Life Compass series have been released. In 2013, the first English edition titled The Compass of Now was published through The Life Compass Ltd. Kru Aoy's books have sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide.
Additionally, Kru Aoy ran a seminar business, hosting the “Life Compass” training courses attended by many celebrities and well-known figures. The course fees were high, in the tens of thousands of baht per person. She earned the nickname "top life coach" and was involved in a controversy with "Artui" or "Tuitui" Phutthachad Pongsuchat, a famous host and actor.
