Co-Payment Plus Phase 2 Confirmed: Check Registration Conditions and How to Get 2,000 Baht

Co-Payment Plus Phase 2 Definitely coming, reviewing campaign policies “Anutin Charnvirakul” from the “Bhumjaithai Party” plus checking the conditions on how to receive 2,000 baht

Following the “2026 Election” On 8 February 2026, the Election Commission (EC) began releasing unofficial results for public knowledge. It appeared that the top party was Bhumjaithai Party, led by “Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul.” One of the key policies many asked about was the “Co-Payment Plus” Phase 2 project, which had been halted due to the Royal Decree dissolving the House of Representatives B.E. 2568 (2025) coming into effect on 12 December 2025, preventing the use of the central budget for this project.

Recently, Mr. Akniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, revealed that with Bhumjaithai Party winning the most votes, once the new government is officially formed, it will continue the economic policies for continuity from those implemented over the past two months.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lawaron Saengsanit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, said the ministry is ready to support the new government's policies. Although the official results are not yet confirmed, with Bhumjaithai as the leading party and government leader, upon forming a new government, the “Co-Payment Plus” program will be immediately pushed forward to stimulate the domestic economy.

Regarding whether the budget is sufficient, since only 30 billion baht remains but the policy aims to push more than 44 billion baht, Mr. Lawaron said details need to be reviewed again. He believes Mr. Akniti already understands the scope and feasibility and which projects must be driven forward, but he confirmed that “Co-Payment Plus Phase 2” will definitely proceed. The new round of registration for state welfare cards is also fully prepared and ready to be implemented once the new government is in place.

However, looking back at the conditions for the “Co-Payment Plus Phase 2” project, it is limited to 10 million rights with 2,000 baht per person. Those eligible are divided into two groups as follows:

1. Those who have never participated in the project and people living in flood-affected areas and provinces with border conflicts with Cambodia, totaling 5 million rights.

2. Citizens who previously participated in the first phase of the “Co-Payment Plus” project, totaling 5 million rights.
