Earlier in February, he had posted a warning about gastric bypass surgery, saying he was among the pioneering patients. Fifteen years later, he faced various health issues. Back then, he didn’t even know what gastric bypass was, but because he weighed 155 kg and his mother feared obesity-related death, she took him for the surgery.
He also described his symptoms: he used to be unable to eat, then able to eat again, but now cannot eat, feels loss of appetite, depression, and even when he tries to eat, no matter how delicious the food, he does not want to because it causes vomiting. He can only consume milk, soft foods, and bananas to survive.
He further clarified that he was not saying everyone would experience the same; living well might prevent such outcomes. He is not a doctor and was merely issuing a warning, leaving judgment to individuals.
