
The owner is deeply saddened. "Molly" The Siberian Husky was set on fire by a cruel person and has now passed away.
In the case of a 2-year-old female Siberian Husky named Molly, an unknown assailant poured gasoline on her body in the middle of the street and set her on fire. The flames engulfed her entire body before she ran back home with the fire still burning, resulting in severe injuries. This incident occurred at Ban Laem Khwan Soi 4, Phawong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province on 14 February 2026. Molly was then transferred for treatment at the Prince of Songkla University Veterinary Hospital in Khlong Hong Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.
Later, on 19 February 2026, Molly’s owner revealed that King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) had graciously taken Molly under royal patronage. The following day (20 February), the royal secretary was scheduled to collect Molly from the Prince of Songkla University Veterinary Hospital to transfer her to Bangkok for further treatment to ensure the best care.
Most recently, at 07:57 on 20 February 2026, reports stated that Molly’s owner posted the sad news, stating: "RIP, my beloved child. I am on my way to receive your body."
