The song urges people to join hands in pursuing their dreams and protecting the nation’s funds. It sparked widespread social media criticism and became so popular that comments had to be disabled.
On 21 February 2026, reporters noted that the issue became a hot topic on social media after the Facebook page of the State Audit Office (SAO) published the music video of a song. “The Auditor’s Resolution” The lyrics were written by Mr. Montien Charoenphon, the Auditor General, and include the following lines.
“A promise to the sky and the people, we auditors vow to continue the royal legacy, joining hands to protect the nation’s funds, the sweat of our fellow citizens pouring down, soaking the shirts we wear. Our duty is to audit the nation’s funds across the land of Thailand under the sunlight.”
“The path ahead is still long, let’s hold hands and keep walking to chase our dreams. Even if hardships arise, we will overcome them. Our SAO must shine gloriously.”
“Even when the storms pour down, we hold hands and support each other without retreating. Braving the storm, pursuing the fading dreams, uniting our hearts for the nation. Like stars shining from afar, a beacon of hope showing every way forward. Though the waves are strong, we still fight, waiting to reach the finish line.”

The music video shows the working atmosphere of the team inside the State Audit Office building, depicting serious discussions. At one point, Mr. Montien led the management team to stand hand in hand in front of the building.
As of 21 February, just one day after the video’s release, it has attracted significant public attention, with views soaring past one million, shared 3,700 times, and over 3,700 comments. Some comments included: “March 2026 marks one year already, are you embarrassed?” and “The whole building collapsed, no one is at fault, very impressive.”
However, commenting has now been disabled because the State Audit Office restricted who can comment on this post.
