Doctor Kongkwan expressed anger on Facebook, announcing her decision to end her career as a doctor, remove the Medical Council's collar, and return her license, saying she has endured for a long time.
On 26 Feb 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that Dr. Kongkwan Fujitiniran or Doctor Kongkwan posted a message on her Facebook page “ Doctorkatekate ” stating, "After 20 years as a doctor, I have been very proud of my profession, but tomorrow I announce my stance to end my medical career because I have lost patience with a system that applies ‘discretion’ without standards. I, Doctor Kongkwan, will finally remove the collar called 'Medical Council.' I am the first doctor in Thailand to return my license. I have endured too much bullying. I’m resigning outright. See you at the Medical Council, Mahitaladhibesat Building, 12th floor, Ministry of Public Health, on 27 Feb 2026 at 10:00 a.m."
After Doctor Kongkwan’s post went viral, many people commented with support, while some awaited her explanation about what exactly had happened.
