1. Must be a Thai national.
2. Must be at least 16 years old on the registration date.
3. Must possess a national ID card.
4. Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 1 October 2025.
5. Must not have had rights suspended or been asked to repay funds under state projects, including (1) Co-Payment Phase 1, (2) Co-Payment Phase 2, (3) Co-Payment Phase 3, (4) Co-Payment Phase 4, and (5) Co-Payment Phase 5.

includes individuals who have filed personal income tax returns under the general income category (Form Por Ngor Dor 90), income from labor under Section 40(1) of the Revenue Code (Form Por Ngor Dor 91), or reduced tax rate returns (Form Por Ngor Dor 95) for the 2024 tax year according to the Revenue Department database as of 30 June 2025.

  • Group eligible for 2,000 baht 

includes individuals who have not filed the above personal income tax returns.

When will "Co-Payment Phase 2" start and on what date?

Regarding the government formation timeline, following the 8 February 2026 election, Anutin Charnvirakul's party is expected to proceed as follows:

  • 8 February 2026: General Election.
  • By 9 April 2026: EC certifies 95% of MPs.
  • 10-16 April 2026: New MPs report for duty.
  • After Songkran: The first parliamentary session is held to elect the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, then awaits royal appointment.
  • May 2026: Parliament convenes to select the Prime Minister. If approved, the appointment is submitted for royal endorsement, and then the Prime Minister appoints the cabinet and verifies qualifications, taking about three weeks.
  • The cabinet drafts government policies.
  • Mid-June 2026: Policy presentation to Parliament.
  • After policy presentation: Proceed with "Co-Payment Plus Phase 2".

In simple terms, those waiting to use "Co-Payment Plus Phase 2" funds might be able to start spending in June or later.

"Co-Payment Plus" registration update for 2026.

It is expected that the registration method for "Co-Payment Plus Phase 2" or the new round willbe similar to before,requiring registration through the Pao Tang app with these simple steps:

1. Download the Pao Tang app and activate the G Wallet service.

2. Tap to register for the benefit as specified in the program (previous round allowed registration daily from 06:00 to 22:00 or until full).

3. Wait for the system to notify the "registration result."

4. Those who participated in Co-Payment Phase 5 (2022) can check registration results via the Pao Tang app.

5. Those who never participated in Co-Payment Phase 5 (2022) can check registration results via SMS and the Pao Tang app.

How to register for "Co-Payment Plus" and steps to use the benefit.

Looking back at the registration method for Co-Payment Plus via the Pao Tang app, the process is divided into two groups: those who have never received benefits and those who have, with steps as follows.

For those who have "never" received benefits from Co-Payment Phase 5 (2022):

1. Update the Pao Tang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet.

2. Open the Pao Tang app and tap the "Co-Payment Plus Program" banner.

3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm registration.

4. Receive registration results via notifications on the Pao Tang app and SMS (within 3 days).

5. Top up the G Wallet before starting to use the benefit.

6. Use the benefit from 29 October to 31 December 2025, between 06:00 and 23:00.

7. Check the usage and remaining balance on the Pao Tang app.

For those who have "previously" received benefits from Co-Payment Phase 5 (2022):

1. Update the Pao Tang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet.

2. Open the Pao Tang app and tap the "Co-Payment Plus Program" banner.

3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm registration.

4. Receive registration results via notifications on the Pao Tang app.

5. Top up the G Wallet before starting to use the benefit.

6. Use the benefit from 29 October to 31 December 2025, between 06:00 and 23:00.

7. Check the usage and remaining balance on the Pao Tang app.
