Thai Airways and Nok Air Open Pilot Recruitment with Initial Qualification Checks

Thai Airways and Nok Air are now recruiting pilots, both male and female, with a bachelor's degree or higher in any field. Candidates should verify their basic qualifications before applying.

Thai Airways Public Company Limited, through its Human Resources Department, is recruiting licensed commercial pilots and trainee pilots from 9 to 31 March 2026, with the following basic qualifications.

Check the qualifications for the pilot position.

• Education: at least a bachelor's degree in any field. (For degrees from abroad, applicants must provide equivalency documents from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.)
• Male applicants must have completed their military service obligations.
• Good health and eyesight.
  – Minimum height for male applicants is 165 cm, and for female applicants, 160 cm.
• No criminal record.
• Must hold a valid ATPL(A) or CPL(A) license and have passed all ATPL Knowledge exams issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency at Level 4 or higher, with a valid certificate.
• The license must specify Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi Engine Rating (ME), both valid.
• Applicants holding Type Ratings for Airbus or Boeing aircraft will be given special consideration.
• Must hold a Class 1 Medical Certificate initially issued by the Air Force Institute of Aviation Medicine, valid and without Operational Multi-pilot Limitation (OML).

• For graduates: applicants must be Thai nationals, no older than 32 years (born on or after 4 March 1994).
• For current students: applicants must be Thai nationals, aged between 18 and 32 years as of the application date, born between 4 March 1994 and 4 March 2008.
• Must have completed military service obligations.
• Education (for graduates):
  – Minimum bachelor's degree in any field.
  – For foreign degrees, equivalency documents from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation are required.
• Education (for current students):
  – Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at a state university, a state-supervised institution, a private university, Rajabhat University, or other accredited institutions recognized by the Office of the Higher Education Commission in Thailand.
  – Must graduate and receive certification by 31 July 2027.
  – Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 through the latest semester.
• Good health and eyesight.
  – Minimum height for male applicants is 165 cm, and for female applicants, 160 cm.
  – Applicants' eyesight must be no worse than -6.00 diopters for nearsightedness, +5.00 diopters for farsightedness, and 2.00 diopters for astigmatism.
  – Applicants who wear glasses must bring them to the medical examination at the Air Force Institute of Aviation Medicine.
  – Permitted corrective eye surgeries include PRK, LASIK, and ReLEx SMILE, with pre-surgery prescriptions within specified limits and surgery performed at least one year before the medical exam. Use of implantable contact lenses (ICL) or intraocular lenses (IOL) is not allowed.
  – Applicants must have a Body Mass Index (BMI) not exceeding 30 on the day of the medical examination at the Air Force Institute of Aviation Medicine.
• No criminal record.
• Must have one of the following English language test results:
  – THAI TEP (THAI Test of English Proficiency) with a score of at least 63 (test results must be no more than 2 years old, with test dates between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2026), or
  – TOEIC (English-language Proficiency Test) Personal Test only, with a score of at least 650 (results must be no more than 2 years old, with certificate issue dates between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2026).
