Drama at Grade 10 Entrance Exam: Triam Udom Suksa School Shares Image Banning Money in Exam Rooms

Social media erupted in criticism over the Grade 10 exam. "Triam Udom Suksa School" Images spread showing a ban on bringing money into exam rooms, with banknotes found on the floor and in trash bins.

On 7 March 2026, reporters reported that Triam Udom Suksa School held the entrance exam for Grade 10 admission for the academic year 2026. This year, 13,895 candidates from all regions of the country took the exam, competing for 1,520 available places.

Meanwhile, a Facebook user posted images from the exam venue at the school, saying, "No money is allowed in the exam rooms. Money was thrown into trash bins. How will the children get home? Not all parents can stay with their children. I feel sorry for the kids. Believe me, this also disturbed the students’ concentration during the exam. Some were shocked—how will they get home? They don’t even have a phone."

The original poster provided information to "Thairath Online News team" stating, "The images came from parents waiting for their children at the exam. Details are unknown, but clearly some children might not be able to get home because they have no money or phone. I feel sorry for them."

Recently, an official at the exam site briefly explained, "The school does not allow pens with caps, digital watches, or money inside the exam rooms because previously some people tried to bring in cheat sheets. Therefore, candidates are asked to leave such items outside, where staff supervise them. The area is cordoned off and no outsiders are allowed in."

If Triam Udom Suksa School issues a statement regarding this matter, we will report it accordingly.
