Later, the original poster issued a statement apologizing to Triam Udom Suksa School, explaining that the photos of students placing money on the ground and in trash bins came from the grandchild's mother, who was waiting at the exam all day and sent them. As a guardian, the poster expressed concern for some students who had to return to their accommodation alone without guardians. The poster affirmed their sincere concern for those students and apologized to anyone whose reputation or feelings might have been affected.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Education added that the ministry is aware of the concerns from parents, the public, and society regarding the photos taken outside the venue for the grade 10 entrance exam at Triam Udom Suksa School, held on 7 March 2026 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province, which sparked online debate.
The ministry will gather suggestions from all sectors to improve exam site management in the future, including clearer communication of procedures, appropriate service areas matching the number of examinees, use of technology to enhance management efficiency, and considering regional exam site distribution to reduce travel burdens on out-of-town candidates.
