Mom Luang Peektong Thongyai, CEO of OR "PTT," confirms there is definitely no fuel shortage, but increased demand has caused delivery delays at some gas stations during certain periods.
On 15 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Mom Luang Peektong Thongyai, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, stated that due to ongoing unrest in the Middle East, OR is closely monitoring the situation. We have been striving to provide comprehensive service to the public through pipelines, ships, trucks, and trains, as well as through over 2,400 fuel stations nationwide. Please be assured that there will definitely be sufficient fuel available.
However, the significantly increased fuel demand at this time may result in some service stations experiencing issues selling certain products during specific periods, as deliveries from our depots are awaited. Nonetheless, we reaffirm that there is no fuel shortage. OR is making every effort to manage the situation and minimize any impact.
We thank everyone for their understanding and assure you that we will continue to closely monitor the situation.
