Following Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mr. Akniti Nitithanprapas revealing progress, the Khon La Khrueng Plus project . or Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2,

he stated that systems must be prepared to proceed immediately once the government is officially formed. The original principle remains: 2,000 baht for those outside the tax system and 2,400 baht for those within, with considerations on whether to distribute funds simultaneously or prioritize those missed in the first round. Also included is the Thailand Individual Savings Account (TISA) to encourage savings.

Reviewing the conditions of the project, "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" is limited to 10 million rights, each receiving 2,000 baht. Eligible recipients are divided into two groups:

• those who have never participated and those living in flood-affected areas and border provinces with Cambodia, totaling 5 million rights.
• For those who have previously participated in the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" project, there are 5 million rights.

It is expected that the 10 million rights for the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" project will provide a total financial aid of 2,000 baht per person throughout the project.

This can be spent at participating stores from 06:00 to 23:00 via the G-Wallet in the Paotang app, without requiring the full daily use of 200 baht.

When to register for "Khon La Khrueng Phase 2"

According to the government formation timeline, after the February 8 election, Anutin Charnvirakul anticipates the following:

• On March 19, the prime minister vote will take place. If approved, the appointment will be submitted for royal endorsement. Subsequently, the prime minister will appoint the cabinet and verify qualifications, a process taking about three weeks.
• In April, the government will prepare and present its policy to parliament.
• After Songkran, the new government will proceed, and the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" project is expected to start immediately.

It is anticipated that post-Songkran there will be clarity regarding the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" or "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" project, including registration and usage periods to alleviatethe difficultiesof the public.

• holding a national ID card,
• not holding a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of October 1, 2025,

4. Receive registration results via notifications on the Paotang app and SMS (within 3 days).

5. Top up G-Wallet before using the rights.

For those who have "previously" received benefits from Khon La Khrueng Phase 5 (2022):

1. Update the Paotang app to the latest version and activate G-Wallet.

2. Open the Paotang app and tap the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" banner.

3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm registration.

4. Receive registration results via notifications on the Paotang app.

5. Top up G-Wallet before using the rights.

Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2: identity verification via Paotang

For verification using a Krungthai NEXT account:

1. Log into Krungthai NEXT.

2. Enter your Krungthai NEXT PIN.

3. Tap the proceed button on the Paotang app.

4. Enter the OTP sent to the phone number linked to Krungthai NEXT.

5. Set a PIN code.

6. Confirm the PIN code.

Applicants must use a Krungthai NEXT account registered with the same ID number as the Paotang app.

For verification by facial scan:

1. Prepare for facial scanning.

2. Scan the face (this can be skipped if the phone lacks a camera or it is damaged).

3. Set a PIN code.

4. Confirm the PIN code.

5. Enable facial or fingerprint scanning.

6. Accept the Paotang app terms of use (mandatory for service applicants).

7. Display consent screen only if the user has not previously responded (response can be consent or refusal).

8. During data verification, a message "Verifying data" appears on the card.

9. If registration succeeds, the Wallet card will be displayed as shown to enable service subscription.
