Grab Supports Rider Fuel Costs from 18 Mar to 1 Apr with Automatic e-Wallet Transfers

Grab has announced support for rider fuel costs to ease hardships amid rising fuel prices from 18 March to 1 April, with a total of 10 million baht to be automatically transferred into e-Wallets.

On 18 March 2026, Ms. Jantsuda Thananityaudom, CEO of Grab Thailand, revealed that due to tensions in the Middle East affecting fuel price increases, Grab has assessed the impact and announced a "special incentive" to help ease the burden on drivers and riders providing passenger transport and delivery services via the Grab app. This fuel cost support, covering all trips, totals 10 million baht from today (18 March) until 1 April 2026.

The incentive will be given only to drivers and riders using fuel-powered cars or motorcycles. The incentive rates will vary according to the driver and rider tiers. Grab will automatically transfer the funds into the drivers' and riders' electronic cash wallets (e-Wallets) by 6 April 2026.

The company will continue to monitor and assess the situation closely, adjusting operational plans as needed to align with the context and maintain balance among all stakeholders as much as possible.
