Ekniti confirms 'Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2' is definitely coming. Check the timeline and registration method, then await results via the 'Pao Tang' app to receive 2,000-2,400 baht.

After Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, confirmed that 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' is definitely coming during a seminar, stating, "Many say the new Plus phase will be short-term. It will allow participating stores to press a button to analyze sales data, see the best selling times, and identify customer groups. Proper cost management alone is beneficial. I also discussed with the Thai Bankers' Association about income and expense analysis, enabling loans to avoid informal debt. It will also help sellers upgrade their skills. On the buyer side, AI will analyze purchasing patterns to enhance spending knowledge," as previously reported.

'Khon La Khrueng Phase 2' registration date?

According to the government formation timeline from Anutin Charnvirakul after the 8 February election, the forecast is as follows:

• 19 Mar 2026 GMT+7: Prime Minister vote. If approved, the appointment will be submitted for royal endorsement, and then the Prime Minister will appoint the cabinet with qualifications checked, taking about three weeks.
• April: Draft government policies and deliver the policy statement to parliament.
• After Songkran, the new government will proceed, and it is expected that the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2' program will start immediately.

Reviewing the conditions of the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2' program, it is limited to 10 million beneficiaries, each receiving 2,000 baht, divided into two groups:

• Those who have never joined the program and people in flood-affected areas and provinces along the Cambodia border conflict zone, totaling 5 million beneficiaries.
• And 5 million beneficiaries who have previously joined the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program.

It is expected that these 10 million beneficiaries will receive 2,000 baht assistance each throughout the program.

Who is eligible to register for 'Khon La Khrueng Plus'?

The eligibility criteria for registering for 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' are as follows:

1. Must be a Thai national.

2. Must be at least 16 years old on the registration date.

3. Must have a national ID card.

4. Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 1 October 2025.

5. Must not have had rights suspended or been required to refund money in state projects such as 'Khon La Khrueng' phases 1 through 5.

How to register for 'Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2' via the 'Pao Tang' app:

• Download the 'Pao Tang' app and activate the G Wallet service.
• Register for the entitlement on the date set by the government between 06:00 and 22:00.

The registration result will be available through the 'Pao Tang' app.
