19 March 2026 is the New Moon Day When the Moon Will Not Be Visible Tonight

NARIT reveals the astronomical calendar for 19 March 2026 as the day"New Moon" (New Moon) People on Earth will not see the moon tonight because its side not receiving sunlight faces Earth. The moon will rise and set with the sun.

On 19 March 2026, the Facebook pageNARIT, the National Astronomical Research Instituteposted that the astronomical calendar for 19 March 2026is the "New Moon"or dark moon night, when people on Earth cannot see the moon because its dark side faces Earth, and it rises and sets with the sun.

In the following days, the bright crescent of the moon will gradually become visible each day until it becomesthe "Full Moon"which shines fully again. This is the normal lunar cycle as the moon orbits Earth.
