19 March 2026Chularatchamontri OfficeAnnounced the determination of the first day of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr) in the Hijri year 1447, stating, "As previously announced for Thai Muslim communities nationwide to sight the moon to determine the first day of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr) in Hijri year 1447 on Thursday, 19 March 2026, after sunset,
it was found that no one sighted the moon. Therefore, it is hereby announced that the first day of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr) in Hijri year 1447 corresponds to Saturday, 21 March 2026."
