Chada Thaised revealed his latest health condition, admitting that this time it is severe but he remains determined because he still has responsibilities to the people who elected him.
On 22 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that Chada Thaised, MP for Uthai Thani province from the Bhumjaithai Party, posted a message on his Facebook page.Chada ThaisedHe disclosed his latest illness and recounted past events and his feelings about his political duties after suffering from severe, persistent neck pain that has affected his daily life.
The MP said, "On the 19th, it reminded me of when I supported Mr. Pita as prime minister. I spoke that day in 2023; my life changed. But back then, my neck hurt so badly I could hardly hold my head up."
He added, "Some media used my photo making a head-shaking gesture to mock me as being drunk or on drugs. I pushed back sometimes, but it’s true I was stiff. Over the past two or three years, choosing a prime minister felt meaningless for an old dog like me to watch. But today, I’m no longer stiff, yet my neck is so rigid I can’t turn it; I have to turn my whole body. It’s very painful, much worse than in 2023, but no one teases me about it now."
He also shared personal feelings about his current illness, admitting it is more serious than many realize, and reflected on concerns about his future while still holding firmly to the duties entrusted to him by the people.
He said, "Today I want to say, ‘I’m really heavy (seriously ill). I don’t know if I’ll see 2027, but what’s important are the responsibilities and the votes everyone has given me. They are tremendous and beyond words. It pains my heart, it’s hard to express. I think about it but tell myself, ‘You can’t die yet, Da. There are still many duties to our people.’"
The post drew many followers and citizens expressing concern and sending encouragement for his speedy recovery, while many praised his dedication.
