PTT Station and Bangchak have announced a fuel price increase: all types of gasohol will rise by 2 baht per liter, while diesel will increase by 1.80 baht, effective from 5 a.m. tomorrow.


On 20 March 2026, reporters reported that PTT Station and Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) announced a fuel price adjustment: gasohol prices will rise by 2 baht per liter, diesel prices will increase by 1.80 baht per liter, except for Hi Premium 97, which will remain at the current price. This will take effect from 5 a.m. on 24 March 2026.

The fuel prices as of 21 March 2026 are as follows:

GSH95S EVO is priced at 35.05 baht per liter.

GSH91S EVO is priced at 34.68 baht per liter.

GSH E20S EVO is priced at 30.05 baht per liter.

GSH E85S EVO is priced at 26.79 baht per liter.

Hi Premium 97 (GSH95++) is priced at 49.54 baht.

Hi Diesel S is priced at 32.94 baht per liter.

Hi Premium Diesel S is priced at 48.84 baht per liter.

(These prices exclude the local maintenance tax in Bangkok.)

According to data collected using Zocial Eye by Wisesight (Thailand) Co., Ltd., from 1 to 19 March 2026, the topic of the "fuel price crisis" generated 103,552,835 social media engagements from a total of 314,168 posts.

Breaking down the data by platform, interesting insights emerge as follows:

  • Facebook remains the main platform for news dissemination and media reporting, with 190,281 posts (65.46%) generating about 36 million engagements.

  • YouTube ranks second, with 34,795 posts (12.34%) generating over 4 million engagements, mainly from video analysis and in-depth news content.

  • TikTok is the platform causing the biggest impact: despite having only 16,235 posts (5.79%), it generated the highest engagement of 50 million, reflecting how younger generations and the general public use short videos as a primary means to express their hardship.
