Khon La Khrueng Plus Is Coming: Latest Registration Update, Check Results via Pao Tang App

"Aekniti" confirms that after the government is formed, the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program will definitely proceed. He reveals the source of funding is sufficient to move the project forward. Latest registration methods updated, check results via the "Pao Tang" app.

Mr. Aekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said on the "Worker News Off-Air" program about the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" measure, confirming the promise must be fulfilled. Currently, the team is studying AI issues, and after the government is formed, the program will definitely proceed. They are working to secure funding. Previously, the policy was to accelerate disbursement to stimulate the economy out of stagnation. However, many government agencies have not signed contracts or accelerated spending due to various limitations. That money will be reclaimed as the budget period ends on 30 Sep, to help support the people.

This is not new. During the Ukraine war crisis in 2022, a law was enacted to reclaim funds from slow disbursing agencies. Now facing a more severe crisis, the same principle applies: managing existing funds efficiently during the crisis without new borrowing. Currently, numbers are being compiled, and it is certain the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" project will proceed.

"When will registration for Khon La Khrueng Phase 2 open?"

Following the government's formation timeline, "Anutin Charnvirakul" after the 8 Feb election, the expected schedule is as follows.

• 19 Mar 2026: Prime Minister vote. If approved, the appointment will be submitted for royal endorsement. Then the Prime Minister will appoint the cabinet and conduct qualification checks, taking about three weeks.
• In April, government policies will be drafted and presented to the parliament.
• After Songkran, the new government will proceed, and the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" program is expected to start immediately, as stated by the Finance Minister.

"How much will Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2 provide?"

Examining the conditions of the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" program, it is limited to 10 million rights, offering 2,000 baht per person. Eligible recipients are divided into two groups as follows.

• Five million rights are for those who have never participated in the program and those in flood-affected areas and provinces along the border with Cambodia experiencing conflict.
• Five million rights are for people who previously participated in the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program.

Eligibility criteria for "Khon La Khrueng Plus" registration.

• Must be a Thai national.
• Must be at least 16 years old on the registration date.
• Must have a national ID card.
• Must not hold the state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 1 Oct 2025.
• Must not be suspended from rights or required to repay funds in government projects including "Khon La Khrueng" phases 1 through 5.

How to register for "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" via the "Pao Tang" app.

• Download the "Pao Tang" app and activate the G Wallet service.
• Register for the rights on the date specified by the government between 06:00 and 22:00.
• Registration results can be checked through the "Pao Tang" app.
