On 25 March 2026, reporters reported that the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) launched the "Air Conditioner Cleaning Supports the Nation, Saves Electricity, Thailand Must Survive" project, offering a 300 baht discount on air conditioner cleaning services costing no more than 600 baht. The promotion runs from 11:00 AM on 25 March until 23 May 2026, or until 30,000 discounts are claimed.

Conditions to qualify for the 2026 air conditioner cleaning discount:

• Wall-mounted air conditioners with a capacity not exceeding 24,000 BTU/h.
• Limited to one person, one discount, per household.

Steps to redeem the discount at department store points of sale:

Participating department stores include HomePro, MEGA HOME, Power Buy, Thai Watsadu, BnB Home, Global House, The Mall, Power Mall, Emporium, PARAGON, HomeOne, and others.

1. Present your ID card and a one-month electricity bill from 2026.

2. Staff will verify your eligibility.

3. The service must be provided by staff by 23 June 2026.

4. Pay a service fee not exceeding 300 baht.
