On 25 March 2026, following the Oil Fund Management Committee's (OFMC) approval to reduce the compensation rates for diesel and gasoline prices, retail fuel prices for all types will rise by 6 baht per liter starting tomorrow (26 March 2026), as previously reported.(Urgent! Latest reports indicate that in many areas, people have started going out to fill fuel tanks late at night following the announcement of the 6-baht increase for all fuel types, while several gas stations had already closed earlier.

A motorcycle user told Thairath Online News team, "My family informed me that fuel prices are going up by 6 baht per liter, so they told me to stop and fill up before returning home."

However, additional reports state that some people were disappointed as they could not refuel because some gas stations had run out of fuel or had already closed.
