"Civil Service Exam 2026" Part 1 electronic exam (e-Exam) starts first set of testsRounds 1-5This week, from 27 March to 29 March 2026, key exam rules and important identification documents are announced

According tothe Officeof the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) has scheduled the General Knowledge and Ability Test via electronic system (e-Exam) for the year 2026, beginning tomorrow, 27 March 2026. Rounds 1-5 will take place between 27-29 March 2026.

Examinees are advised to check their exam dates, times, and locations, as well asprint their exam ID cards,which can be done by following these steps:

Exam regulations for the Civil Service Exam 2026

1. The General Knowledge and Ability Test via electronic system will be conducted usingthe electronic system,according to the curriculum and examination methods specified in Article 5 of the OCSC announcement regardingregistration for the General Knowledge and Ability Test via electronic system for the year 2026, as stated above. Examinees must strictly comply with all instructions, rules, and examination procedures..

2. Examinees must follow these regulations:

2.1 They must obey and strictly follow instructions and advice from registration officers, exam room supervisors, or proctors that do not conflict with these examination regulations.

2.2 They must dress neatly and behave respectfully.

2.3 They must register before the exam by presenting the following documents:

  • Exam ID Card printed from the websitehttps://job3.ocsc.go.th,which includes an uploaded photograph of the examinee, a frontal photo without a hat or sunglasses, taken within the last 5 months, with a plain background (file type .JPG, minimum size 40 KB), as specified in Step 1 of Section 3.2 of the OCSC announcement on registration for the General Knowledge and Ability Test via electronic system for 2026, andthe General Knowledge and Ability Test via electronic systemfor the year 2026, as stated above, plus
  • an identification card, such as a citizen ID card orgovernment official ID card,which shows a clear photo, signature, and 13-digit ID number, ormilitary officer ID card,active military personnel ID card, driver's license with 13-digit ID number, or an original passport for identification during the exam. Copies will not be accepted.

If none of the above ID cards are available,a certificate of the original citizen ID card or an exam entry permit using the ThaiD or DLT QR LICENCE applicationmay be presented instead.. 2.4 Examinees will not be allowed to register for the exam in the following cases:

(1) Failure to present both the exam ID card and identification card as required in 2.3.

(2) The 13-digit ID number does not match the registration database.

(3) The examinee uploads a photo that is not their own or does not meet the requirements.

(4) Examinees will not be permitted to enter the exam room in these cases:

Failure to register for the exam,

  • Failure to present both the exam ID card and identification card as per
  • section 2.3,Mismatch of the 13-digit ID numberwith the registration database,
  • or uploading an incorrect or invalid photo.If any of these cases are detected after the exam has started, the examinee must stop the test, remain in the exam room until the exam ends, and their exam will not be scored.2.5 Only the following items are allowed in the exam room: the exam ID card and identification card as specified in
  • section 2.3,

or the exam entry permit via the ThaiD or DLT QR LICENCE apps,

pencils, erasers, pens which the examinee must bring themselves, and the seat number card distributed by staff.2.6Communication devices, image or audio recorders,calculating devices,electronic devices, all types of watches, as well as books, notes, bags, or any other items not listed insection 2.6,are strictly prohibited in the exam room. Any examinee found bringing such items will be considered attempting to cheat and will be dismissed from the exam, required to remain in the room until the exam ends, and their exam will not be scored. The OCSC is not responsible for any damage or loss of such items.
