On 27 March 2026, Ms. Kanchana Phulkaew, Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, invited insured persons under Sections 33 and 39 who wish to change their hospital for the year 2026. This change can be made once annually between 16 December and 31 March each year. For those who have moved residence or changed workplaces, forms can be submitted in person at any Social Security Office nationwide. Insured persons can check the list of participating hospitals via the Social Security Office website (www.sso.go.th) or inquire further through the hotline 1506. When selecting a hospital, it is recommended to consider convenience in accessing services and medical benefits. The chosen hospital must be located in the province of work or residence, or an adjacent province, and must not exceed the maximum number of entitled users set by regulations.
However, insured persons who do not wish to change hospitals may continue to use their current medical services as usual. Meanwhile, those who have lost insured status retain the right to continuous medical care for six months from the termination date.
