The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has issued a warning to Thai citizens in Israel after Israeli authorities announced the closure of airspace until 16 April 2026.

stating, “Warning to Thai citizens in Israel: Currently, Israeli authorities have announced the closure of airspace until 16 April 2026. Only Israeli airlines EL AL and ARKIA are operating flights to Thailand, and these are not regular flights.”

• Please postpone purchasing tickets on all airlines departing from Israel, whether Israeli or foreign carriers, regardless of whether tickets are bought directly through airline websites or via travel and ticket booking websites.
• If you have already purchased tickets and your flight is canceled or rescheduled, you may request a refund or wait for the next flight once the airspace is reopened.

If urgent travel out of Israel is necessary, the embassy will assist in facilitating exit through Jordan, with costs borne by the traveler, which may be very high.
