Baby pygmy hippo details: Mother: Hippo Krob / Father: Hippo Khanoon.
Date of birth: 22 March 2026 at 13:44. Gender: Female (a lovely, adorable little girl). Weight: 5 kilograms.
The little one is Moo Deng’s niece because Mother Hippo Krob is Moo Deng’s older sister.
The announcement to fans was delayed because the newborn was very fragile at first. The veterinary team and zookeepers closely monitored her condition 24/7 to ensure she stayed healthy.
Latest update! One week later, our little girl has undergone a health check by the veterinary team and is very healthy. She is gradually learning to nurse, which is truly heartwarming.
