
Just in time to refuel: PTT and Bangchak have announced a price increase for all fuel types, with diesel rising by 3.50 baht per liter and gasoline by 1.20 baht, effective 5 AM tomorrow (2 April 2026).
On 1 April 2026, reporters reported that after the Fuel Fund Management Committee's meeting, it resolved to reduce the diesel fuel fund subsidy by 4.11 baht per liter, from 21.89 baht to 17.78 baht per liter. This caused the diesel retail price in the country to rise by 3.50 baht per liter, setting the pump price at 44.24 baht per liter, effective 2 April onwards.
Most recently, PTT Station and Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (BCP) announced price hikes for all fuel types: diesel rises by 3.50 baht per liter, and gasoline and gasohol increase by 1.20 baht per liter.
(These prices do not include the local maintenance tax for Bangkok).
