Weather Conditions Today, 3 Apr: All Regions Remain Hot to Very Hot, Central and Northeastern Temperatures Exceed 40°C

The Meteorological Department's daily forecast indicates that upper Thailand generally experiences hot weather with hazy skies during midday, and some areas in the central region are very hot, with a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.

On 3 April 2026, the Meteorological Department issued the daily weather forecast. General weather conditions show that upper Thailand is generally hot with hazy midday skies, with some areas in the north, northeast, and central regions experiencing very hot weather. This is due to low pressure caused by heat covering upper Thailand, while weak southern and southwestern winds are present. These conditions result in isolated thunderstorms in some places. The public is advised to take care of their health due to the hot to very hot weather, avoiding prolonged outdoor work or activities and remaining cautious of possible thunderstorms in some areas.

In the southern region, there is little rain, and daytime temperatures are hot due to weak easterly and southeasterly winds covering the Gulf of Thailand, the south, and the Andaman Sea.

Currently, air pollution levels in the north, northeast, and upper central regions are moderately to heavily accumulated due to a high density of heat spots in the north and nearby areas exceeding the atmosphere's dispersal capacity. People are advised to avoid staying outdoors and to wear N95 masks for safety when outside buildings.
