Bangchak launches a pilot program "Fry to Fly – Exchange 2 Liters for 1 Liter" Exchange cooking oil for vehicle fuel at participating stations from 6 to 30 April 2026
On 4 April 2026, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited launched the pilot program "Fry to Fly - Exchange 2 Liters for 1 Liter" under the concept "Cooking Oil for Vehicle Fuel." The campaign invites the public to exchange 2 liters of used cooking oil for 1 liter of vehicle fuel, which can be filled immediately at participating Bangchak gas stations in Bangkok and the metropolitan area from 6 to 30 April 2026.
This project aims to ease consumer burdens by building on the Fry to Fly initiative, which collects used cooking oil to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). It makes the benefits more accessible by allowing households to exchange 2 liters of used cooking oil for 1 liter of diesel or regular gasoline fuel (excluding premium grades) on the spot.
The exchange is limited to a maximum of 20 liters of used cooking oil per person. The rate is set at 1 kilogram of used cooking oil equivalent to 1 liter of fuel for convenience.
This pilot program is part of Bangchak’s measures to support consumers during the Middle East conflict crisis. There are 15 participating Bangchak gas stations in this campaign as follows.
