Chalermchai Posts Fiery Video Response Amidst Close Associates Death, Affirms He Has Not Stopped Riding Motorcycles

Chalermchai Kositpipat posted a fiery video response after being implicated in the death of his close secretary, Mueangphan, who died in an accident. Upon learning the news while returning from Japan, he confirmed he has not stopped riding motorcycles but will no longer use the big bike they once rode together.

Reporters provided updates on the death of Mr. Narintorn Thamas, known as Mueangphan, 38, Chalermchai Kositpipat's close secretary, who died in a big bike accident on 3 April.

The atmosphere at the funeral wake on the evening of 5 April 2026 at themulti-purpose hallat Wat Rong Khun, the second night of the wake, was filled with sorrow. Mr. Prasert Jitpleechip, Deputy Governor of Chiang Rai, senior officials, and over 600 guests attended, overflowing outside the hall.

This morning (6 April 2026), Chalermchai Kositpipat posted a video on the Facebook page "Following Chalermchai Kositpipat's Life" to clarify facts amid social media rumors alleging he caused his disciple's death and that he would quit riding motorcycles for life.

In the video, Chalermchai said he felt terrible being accused of causing someone’s death. He explained that on the day of the incident, he was still in Japan, returning to Thailand, while Mueangphan rode his bike on a personal trip, unrelated to Chalermchai’s travels. The rumors are misinformation spread to gain likes during his period of grief.

Regarding rumors he would stop riding motorcycles, Chalermchai confirmed this was untrue. He still rides and loves motorcycle touring but will stop riding high-cc big bikes like the ones he used to ride with Mueangphan. He plans to store those big bikes and switch to riding motorcycles with smaller engine displacement.

Chalermchai also stated that Mueangphan was not involved in managing Wat Rong Khun but was his personal secretary for over ten years and a beloved travel companion. The person managing Wat Rong Khun is "Man," the temple manager.

The cremation ceremony for Mr. Narintorn Thamas, or Mueangphan, will proceed according to the schedule set by the family and Wat Rong Khun’s team. After the morning Buddhist rites, the body will be moved toRuamjai Rong Khun Crematoriumin San Sai Noi, Pa O Don Chai Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District for the cremation ceremony. The cremationceremony
