
Latest update on the project “Khon La Khrueng Plus” Supporting vulnerable groups, transport workers, farmers, and fishermen; guidance on registration and checking eligibility results via the Paotang app
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mr. Akniti Nitithanprapas stated that after the policy address to Parliament, the Cabinet meeting on 11 Apr will focus on measures addressing the direct impact of fuel prices, targeting assistance to vulnerable groups, transport workers, farmers, and fishermen.
The Khon La Khrueng Plus project and top-ups to the state welfare card are confirmed but will not be launched on 11 Apr because these funds will be reserved as mechanisms for economic recovery and cost-of-living relief in the next phase, given that rising energy costs will inevitably increase product prices and affect the overall economy.
In the previous Khon La Khrueng project, the government paid 50% (up to 200 baht per person per day) with the following spending limits:
Eligible registrants must meet these criteria:
1. Must be a Thai national
2. Must be at least 16 years old on the registration date
3. Must have a national ID card
4. Must not hold a state welfare card according to the Ministry of Finance database as of 1 Oct 2025
5. Must not have had rights suspended or been required to repay funds under state projects including Khon La Khrueng phases 1 to 5

1. Update the Paotang app to the latest version and activate G Wallet
2. Open the Paotang app and tap the “Khon La Khrueng Plus” banner
3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm registration
