
Sihasak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed his condolences after being informed that three crew members of the "Mayuree Naree" have died.
On 8 April 2026, Mr. Sihasak Puangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a press briefing on the progress regarding the three Thai crew members aboard the Thai-flagged cargo ship "Mayuree Naree," which encountered an incident while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on 11 March 2026. Earlier, all 20 crew members had been rescued and returned safely to Thailand.
Most recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was informed that the three crew members have passed away, which is deeply regrettable. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased.
