
PTT and Bangchak announce a diesel price cut of 2.14 baht per liter, effective at 5 AM tomorrow, 9 April 2026, following the Energy Policy Committee's decision to approve a reduction in refinery gate prices.
On 8 April 2026, reporters reported that after the Energy Policy Committee meeting, it approved a 2 baht per liter price cut at refinery gates for diesel B7 and B20. This marks the first price reduction in history, using a new pricing formula based on the Singapore central market. As a result, retail prices at gas stations dropped by 2.14 baht per liter, setting diesel B7 at 48.40 baht per liter and diesel B20 at 43.40 baht per liter, effective from 9 April 2026 onward.
