Gold price update on 9 Apr 2026 from the Gold Traders Association: Market closed with a 600 baht decline. Gold bars sold at 71,900 baht; gold ornaments sold at 72,700 baht.

On 9 April 2026, reporters reported that the Gold Traders Association reported adjustments to the “gold price” today, from market opening until the close at 17:30, there were 24 price changes, with a 600 baht decrease from yesterday.

Specifically, the price of 96.5% gold bars most recently was 71,700 baht for buying and 71,900 baht for selling. The price of 96.5% gold ornaments was 70,266.60 baht for buying and 72,700 baht for selling.

Regarding the 96.5% gold ornament prices, selling prices are divided by weight (for estimation only, not actual transaction prices. Please verify prices with the trading shop again).

• The price for half a salung gold ornament is 9,787.50 baht.
• The price for one salung gold ornament is 18,775 baht.
• The price for two salung gold ornaments is 36,750 baht.
• The price for one baht gold ornament is 72,700 baht.
• The price for two baht gold ornaments is 145,400 baht.
• The price for five baht gold ornaments is 363,500 baht.
