Fuel Fund Cuts Oil Prices for Songkran 2026, Slashes Diesel and Gasoline by Up to 6 Baht

Latest oil price cuts The Oil Fuel Fund Board (OFFB) has sharply reduced prices for Songkran, cutting diesel and all types of gasoline by up to 6 baht, reflecting actual global oil prices.

On 10 April 2026, the Oil Fuel Fund Board (OFFB), chaired by Energy Minister Eknat Promphan, announced that the OFFB meeting approved reflecting the weakening trend of the global market mechanism. On 9 April, the global oil market price closed at about 211 USD per barrel, down from about 255 USD per barrel on 7 April. The adjustment of the oil fund rate will take effect from 11 April 2026 as follows.

  • Gasoline retail price previously 52.54 baht, adjusted to 52.54 baht
  • Gasohol retail price previously 43.95 baht, adjusted to 42.95 baht
  • Gasohol retail price previously 43.58 baht, adjusted to 42.58 baht
  • Gasohol E20 retail price previously 38.95 baht, adjusted to 35.95 baht
  • Gasohol E85 retail price previously 34.89 baht, adjusted to 31.89 baht
  • Regular diesel retail price previously 48.40 baht, adjusted to 44.40 baht
  • B20 diesel retail price previously 43.40 baht, adjusted to 37.40 baht

This reduction reflects the Energy Ministry's intention to ease transportation and living costs for citizens during a period when global oil prices are favorable. This measure reduces the Oil Fuel Fund's daily expenses to 589.15 million baht from previously over 1.2 billion baht per day.
