On 12 April 2026, it was reported thatthe Phra Nakhon District Officehas publicized a notice for those planning to participate in Songkran water activities around Khao San Road, stating that the festival will include the closure of 9 roads in Phra Nakhon District, specifically:
These roads will be closed from 12:00 to 24:00 during 13-15 April 2026. The approach will follow last year’s method for accessing the water play areas on Khao San Road, which will be one-way: entry via Chakrapong Road and exit via Tanao Road. The Khok Wua intersection will be exit-only with no entry permitted.
The water play activities on Khao San Road will be open until 22:00. Merchandise sales will be controlled, with the sale of powder and alcoholic beverages prohibited. Vendors will be strictly monitored to prevent blocking traffic routes.
