Metropolitan Electricity Authority Announces Power Outage on 15 April 2026 in Some Bangkok Areas

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) warns of a power outage on 15 April 2026 in certain areas of Bangkok. MEA needs to upgrade or maintain the electrical distribution system to enhance efficiency.

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) announces the necessity to "shut off electricity" in some parts of Bangkok on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, to develop or maintain the electrical distribution system for improved efficiency. To ensure safety during operations, MEA must temporarily suspend electricity supply to several areas as follows.

Power outage on 15 April 2026 in Bangkok areas

• Along Phetkasem Road 69, from the entrance of Soi Inthapaj 15 to Khlong Phasi Charoen, including Bai Cha Apartment, Riverside Condo 69, temporary low-voltage power supply for the construction of a drainage tunnel, and those notified of the outage, from 08:30 to 15:30.
