The Energy Fund Management Committee approved adjusting the fund rates to reduce retail prices of diesel and gasoline-gasohol to reflect the softer global market prices. On 16 April 2026, Singapore oil market prices closed at approximately 172 US dollars per barrel for diesel and about 122 US dollars per barrel for gasoline, down by around 1 and 3 US dollars per barrel respectively from the previous day. The fund rate adjustments take effect from 17 April 2026 as follows:
